M. just sent me to this wonderful device. It assesses the quality of a work of art in a given exhibition based on how long people spend in front of a work of art compared to the total time it is on exhibit.
As someone with VERY populist views about art, I find this device amazingly intriguing. Also pretty awesome is that it says "piece of crap" in french in the image shown. It also appeals to my sense of indignation at bad art. Technology is wonderful.

Duchamp would approve. Screw the oppressive intellectual rigidity of critics, historians, and the definition of "real" art!
